Imphal, May 25 2009:
A 15 day adventure training camp organised by the Manipur Mountaineering and Trekking Association (MMTA) under civic action programme of 32 Bn CRPF and sponsored by IG CRPF Manipur and Nagaland Sector has been opened by IGP CRPF VPS Panwar at MMI complex Lamdan today, conveyed a press release.
The opening function was also attended by MMTA president Dr L Surjit, DIG CRPF Malik, Commandant 32 Bn CRPF BB Vaid and Lamdan Village Authority chairman Acham.
Speaking on the occasion, IGP VPS Panwar assured MMTA officials that required mountaineering and adventure equipment will be provided soon.
He also assured to distribute other sports items to surrounding villages of MMI complex Lamdan.
The camp is being participated by 100 youths.
