Many condole quake victims

Many organisations came forward to condole the loss of lives in yesterday's earthquake.
Apunba Manipur Matam Ishei Kanglup (AMMIK) has condoled the dead victims of the powerful earthquake that hit the State yesterday.
Office bearers of AMMIK today observed a one-minute silence as a mark of respect to the victims of the tremor.
In a statement, AMMIK said that any musical event organised by the Kanglup will be preluded with observance of two-minute silence to show solidarity to the quake victims for one month from now.
Manipuri Students' Federation (MSF) has condoled the loss of lives in the earthquake yesterday.
A statement issued by MSF president Kh Serajjudin has assured all possible assistance to the quake victims while sharing the grief of the affected families.
Chanura Microfin Manipur (CMM) observed a two-minute silence as a mark of solidarity to the loss of lives and properties in the earthquake.
The International Relief for Disaster (IRD) Manipur has condoled the victims of yesterday's earthquake in the State.
Members of IRD in its emergency meeting observed two-minute silence as a mark of respect to the victims.
At the same time, the IRD has also decided to provide assistance to earthquake affected people of the State.
An emergency meeting of the officers and officials working under Directorate of AYUSH, Lamphelpat and Integrated AYUSH Hospital, Lamphelpat was held today at 11 am at Directorate of AYUSH with Director AYUSH in the chair.
Members present in the meeting deeply condoled the death of eight individuals during the earthquake which occured yesterday by observing a 2-minutes silence.
They also decided to contribute one day pay (salary) of all the officers and officials working under the Department of AYUSH, Government of Manipur towards the "Chief Minister's Relief Fund, Manipur, Imphal" as a sincere help for the earthquake affected victims, according to a press release issued by the Director of AYUSH.
Manipur Amateur Karate-Do Association (MAKA) members has condoled the loss of lives and injury caused by the earthquake yesterday morning.
MAKA said that the four-storied building which collapsed at Dewlahland belongs to its secretary RK Lansana Singh and expressed deep shock at the injury caused to his wife and daughter.
It urged the authority concerned to take up immediate action to redress the pressent situation.
Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) also has extended deep and heartfelt condolence to those who lost their lives and paid deep sympathy to those who were injured by the massive earthquake yesterday.
Popular Front of India (PFI), Manipur State also expressed deep shock at the loss of lives and properties during the earthquake and has urged the Government to give monetary assistance to the victims and to investigate into the Ima Keithel collapse.
All Manipur College Teachers' Association (AMCTA) has observed a 2-minutes silence as a mark of respect for the victims of earthquake which occured yesterdayand urged the State Government to take up rehabilitation measures at the earliest.
The Association of Manipur Diaspora (AMAND), Pune has conveyed condolence to the dead victims' families and pay deep sympathy to injured victims of the earthquake that in Manipur yesterday.
