Class X exam conducted peacefully in different districts on first day

With the commencement of the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) exam conducted by the Board of Secondary School Education, Manipur (BOSEM) today, a total of 1,794 students from Senapati district are facing the exam.
The first day of the exam witnessed strict vigilance in all the 7 exam centres of the district such as Bethany Hr Sec School where 284 candidates appeared for the exam while 274 students wrote their exams at Lao Radiant Hr Sec school.
At DV School, 207 candidates seated for the exam while 267 students attempted the said exam at Don Bosco, Maram.
Mao-Maram High School, Tadubi witnessed 252 students appearing for the exams while 246 candidates appeared at Sadar Patel Govt High School.
264 students appeared at Purul Govt High School in the first day of the exam.
Tengnoupal: In Moreh, the class X exam conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BOSEM) went on in a peaceful manner at Moreh Govt Higher Secondary School and St George High School on the first day of the exam.
199 students wrote their exam at Moreh Govt Higher Secondary School while St George School Moreh witnessed 177 candidates appearing for the exam.
Strict vigil were put in place in the two centres by the invigilator to conduct the examination in a fair manner with the support of Moreh police where a team led by OC Letkhohao Vaiphei guarded the two centres to thwart any unwanted incidents.
Noney: The class X exam conducted by BOSEM also went on peacefully at two examination centres in Longmai (Noney) at Tengkonjang Hr Sec School and the new centre at Sharon English High School, Longmai Bazar.
A total of 252 candidates appeared in the centre no 21 at Sharon English High School, Longmai Bazar under the supervision of Namrisin Gonmei, principal, SEHS and KG Lanshingpou, retired principal, TK Hr Sec School as OC and SO respectively while Tengkonjang Hr Sec School, Longmai-3 witnessed 268 candidates appeared for the exam conducted under the strict supervision of Dijuanreiyang Gonmei, principal, TK Hr Sec School and Kadi DI, ZEO Noney as OC and SO respectively.
Kangpokpi: Meanwhile, the All Manipur Gorkha Students' Union (AMGSU) wished all the candidates of the ongoing HSLC and HSE examination 2019 of all streams best of luck in their examination and motivated them to face it with confidence and stress free.
LB Adhikari, president AMGSU asked the student communities to refrain from using unfair means during exam and show respect to the officials who are discharging their duties.
The AMGSU supremo also appealed all concerned not to organize any functions and programmes till the end of the examinations and at the same time to abstain from using loud speakers, mic, etc in the locality which can disturb and affect the academic atmosphere of the student community.
Jiribam: The High School Leaving Certificate Examination, which began today, conducted by Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BSEM) was conducted peacefully at Jiribam Government Higher Secondary School, Borobekra Government Higher Secondary School and Rk Sanatombi Vidyalaya, Jiribam.
For the first time in Jiribam district, a CC TV camera was installed at Rk Sanatombi Vidyalaya, Jiribam, to monitor the activity of the examination centre.
The volunteers of AMSU, MSF, DESAM and KSA also maintained a strong vigil across the 3 different centres to avert any unwanted incidents during the examination.
Speaking to media persons, MSF District Committee, Jiribam president, A Rajiv Singh said that no untoward incidents or news of any cheating or fraud are received so far.
Saying that installation of CCTV camera at Rk Sanatombi Vidyalaya, Jiribam would help a lot in smooth conduct of the examination, he appealed the concerned authorities to install CCTV camera at Jiribam Government Higher Secondary School and Borobekra Government Higher Secondary School too.
Out of 282 students enrolled for the said examination at Jiribam Government Higher Secondary School, 1 student was absent while 2 students each were absent out of 209 and 132 students registered respectively at Borobekra Government Higher Secondary School and Rk Sanatombi Vidyalaya, Jiribam.
Jiribam police also took up neccesary security measures to prevent any unwanted incidents from happening during the examination.
