Maram DBC stages candlelit rally

Extending solidarity to the bereaved families of the 40 CRPF personnel killed in the February 14 Pulwama terror strike, Don Bosco College, Maram organised a silent candlelit procession on February 20 .
The procession was jointly organised by the Legal Literacy Club and Peace Club of the College.
Teachers along with students took part in the candle lit procession.
Extending condolence, Principal of DBC, Maram, Rev Father, Dr KO Sebastian strongly condemned the act of terror and stressed on how the act has sent gloom and despair across the Nation, including the college.
"Many siblings of our students as well as past pupils have been recruited in the armed forces to serve the Nation while many aspire to join in the near future," he said and emphasised on the commitment of the college to pay homage to the bereaved and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls.
The teaching and non-teaching staff along with students of DBC Maram, collectively condoled and pledged to stand united with the Nation.
The Principal thanked the Peace Club and Legal Literacy Club for their initiative to show solidarity with the armed forces.
