Active cases rise to 3

Imphal, June 15 2022:
The State's Covid-19 active caseload has risen to three after a resident of Imphal West was confirmed positive out of 60 samples tested for the virus during the last 24 hours.
As such, the State logged a daily positivity rate of 1.7 per cent.
There is neither any report of Covid related death nor recovery or discharge of Covid-19 positive persons during the last 24 hours.
Nonetheless, the pandemic had already claimed 2120 lives in the State.
The cumulative number of Covid-19 positive cases in the State stands at 1,37,244 (general population 1,32,230 and Central security personnel 5,014) .
This figure includes three active cases from general population and 1,35,121 recovered cases (general population 1,30,114 and Central security personnel 5,007) .
The recovery rate is 98.45 per cent.
The cumulative number of Covid vaccine doses administered in the State has reached 29,29,288 (first dose 15,81,749, second dose 12,45,405 and precautionary dose 102,134) .
Till Tuesday, 61.93 per cent of the State's total eligible population has received the first dose of Covid vaccine while 52.71 per cent has been given both the first and second dose.
