Regional party & its activities alone will be the answer to various threats of National parties - RK Anand

Candidate of the North East India Development Party (NEIDP) for Inner Manipur Parliamentary Constituency RK Anand today lashed the National party for the multiple devastations done by them to the people of the region.
"People of the region particularly the people of Manipur are facing a threat of extinction, threat to survival in every sphere either economically or socially", Anand said in the sideline of his flag hoisting ceremony held today at his Kwakeithel Akham Leikai residence in Imphal west.
Anand said that the National parties are very good in giving promises but they had never fulfilled their promises and added that it is only the regional party and its activities alone that the interest of the people of the region will be served.

"It is the regional party and its activity alone that will answer to the threats from National parties", R.K Anand said while adding that NEIDP is a newly formed regional party with vision to make ourselves self reliant and to solve many of the problem faced by the state including creation of jobs for the youth of the region.
The NEIDP candidate also recounted on how the erstwhile Kingdom had been devastated after becoming a part of India in 1949 .
"After becoming a part of India in 1949, we were not treated the way we should have been treated, we were kept as a part C state and lot of our political privileged we had enjoyed were snatch away", Anand said.
He recounted on how the then Commissioner Himat Singh had taken out the protected permit system and how the people had been subjugated to various form of human rights violation.
Anand also caution the people of the state reminding that if the present government return to power they will make Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) as law of the land.
"Right now we have another likely legislation which is intended to be passed in cash if the present incumbent government returns to power - once CAB became a law, the population in North East will be swamp", RK Anand sad.
N Samarjit, President of the NEIDP, while speaking to media appealed people to have trust in the newly emerging regional political party.
He said that the NEIDP is committed for the people of the North and East and it will stand and fight for the right of the people of the North east.
