Amit Shah discusses LS poll strategies with party leaders

As a part of BJP's Congress Mukt Bharat, the party's National president Amit Shah arrived here today to chalk out strategies for uprooting Congress party from the entire North East region including Manipur and ensure landslide victory of B JP in the next Lok Sabha election which would be held in 2019.Amit Shah is accompanied by BJP North East zonal secretary (organisation) Ajay Jamwal, National general secretaries Ram Madhav and Ram Lai and BJP Manipur in-charge Prahlad Singh Patel.
Amit Shah and his team were accorded a warm reception at Imphal airport by Chief Minister N Biren, BJP Manipur Pradesh president and Rajya Sabha MP K Bhabananda and other party leaders including Union MoS for Information Technology SS Ahluwalia.
Later he presided a meeting on the 2019 Lok Sabha election at Hotel Classic Grande.
Notably, Union Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju who arrived here yesterday to take stock of the State's security situation attended the election meeting.
Nine delegates from Tripura led by Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb, 10 delegates from Nagaland led by Deputy Chief Minister Y Pattor and BJP Nagaland president Temjen Imna Along, 14 delegates from Arunachal Pradesh led by Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Arunachal Pradesh BJP president Tapir Gao and BJP teams from some other States led by their respective presidents arrived here yesterday for the grand meeting.
The BJP National president discussed Lok Sabha election strategies with delegations from all the North Eastern States including Sikkim but excluding Assam.
Amit Shah spared one hour and a half for each delegation, sources informed.
During the meeting each team were asked to spell out their strategies for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
He first deliberated on election strategies with the Arunachal Pradesh delegation and the State delegation was the last to study poll strategy with the BJP chief.
The Manipur BJP team was led by N Biren and K Bhabananda.

Amit Shah would leave Imphal at 9 am tomorrow after holding a meeting with Chief Minister N Biren, his Council of Ministers and BJP MLAs.
