IPSA bans sale of imported iced fish in Jiribam

Jiribam, June 30 2018:
International Peace and Social Advancement (IPSA) Jiribam branch has banned imported iced fish in Jiribam following reports of formalin adulterated iced fish being sold in the some States of North-East including neighbouring Nagaland.
During a drive today, the volunteers and members of the IPSA informed and instructed the fish vendors to avoid selling iced packed fishes in the Jiribam market.
The step was taken following the direction of the State Government to ban sale of iced fishes in the State.
Vice-president IPSA M Nungshithoiba, general secretary S Surchandra, finance secretary G Ibohal Sharma, executive members Boshan Meitei and G Sanatomba Sharma took part in the drive today.
