Claiming that the joint leadership was grievously hurt with the circumstances in which (L) T Vungkhanthang met his tragic end and the aftermath of his killing that covertly disturbed the entire denizens of Churachandpur, a joint statement issued by KNO and ZRO said 'may the sacrifice of the great soul unite us and turn our nights into days'.
The killing depicts serious breach of peace and general safety and the joint leadership is grievously hurt with such unwanted scene at regular intervals invoking mistrust amongst the kindred groups while the struggle for our deliverance is at a crucial stage, reads the statement.
'We strongly condemn-ed such act of savagery and vow that necessary joint venture to mitigate the impending justice will be initiated with deep sense of commitment,' it adds.
Calling on all conscientious individuals, leaders and philanthropic organizations to relentlessly strive to promote peace, unity and brotherhood at all times to come, the statement said, we should get set to avert such evil design of some unscrupulous individuals who endeavours to fragment the coherent bonds existing in us rather resurrect to stamp out all sorts of evil activities at our disposal.
