Imphal, January 17 2016:
The Thangmeiband Kendra Development Organisation (TAKDO) and people of Thangmeiband AC have called a Thangal Bazar bandh from 5 am to 6 pm tomorrow in protest against tarnishing the image of MLA Kh Joykishan by some women vendors of Khwairamband Keithel and speaking against the people of the Assembly segment with disdain.
Moreover, people of Thangmeiband AC have decided to boycott Mayanglambam Radhesana of Thangmeiband who allegedly led the women vendors in storming Joykishan's house yesterday apart from speaking with contempt against the people of Thangmeiband AC until she tenders an apology.

After Joykishan's house was stormed by a large num-ber of women vendors for preventing construction of temporary market sheds along Thangal Bazar road, a joint meeting of TAKDO, local clubs and meira paibis was held today at the residence of the MLA.
Many speakers who addressed the meeting decried that some women vendors led by M Radhesana not only stormed the house of Joy-kishan but also insulted the people of Thangmeiband AC.
The MLA was only asking to build the temporary market sheds at proper places rather than on the middle of the busy Thangal Bazar road.
They said that a bandh would be imposed at Thangal Bazar tomorrow in protest against the attempt to project the MLA in the wrong light.
They further declared to boycott M Radhesana until she tenders an apology for speaking with contempt and utter disrespect against the people of Thangmeiband AC.
Joykishan said that he was not given any information before construction of the temporary market sheds started.
Stating that he was saddened by the reports that women vendors of Khwairamband Keithel have been left with no proper vending space after their market sheds were damaged in the January 4 earthquake, Joykishan claimed that he was considering to raise the issue in Parliament through BJP MPs after he had inspected the damages together with BJP National leader Prahlad Patel.
The Government would have been applauded had the temporary market sheds been constructed on the old Assembly road and the Hao Keithel.
This could have served the purpose of providing a temporary vending space without causing undue inconveniences to movement of people and vehicles.
Joykishan expressed his astonishment with the Government's decision to build the temporary market sheds on the busy Thangal Bazar road.
