Sahitya Akademi invites application for Yuva Puraskar 2022

Imphal, November 13 2021: Sahitya Akademi is inviting books for Yuva Puraskar 2022 from publishers and young Indian authors in all the 24 (twenty four) languages recognized by the Akademi.

The Akademi in a press release informed that the age of the author should be 35 or below as on January 1, 2022 and the last date for submission is on November 30, 2021 .

It further informed that the books should be submitted along with a copy of date of birth certificate duly attested by a Class I Gazetted Officer and the affidavit supporting the date and year of birth as well as educational qualification.

Detailed information about the submission can be obtained from Sahitya Akademi's website - http://sahitya-akademi.gov.in.

The award carries a cash prize of Rs 50,000, a plaque and a citation.
