Thoubal, November 13 2021: A legal awareness programme for women was organised at Thoubal Court Complex on Friday in connection with the Pan India Awareness and Outreach Campaign which is being conducted as a part of observance of 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav' to commemorate 75 years of India's independence.

The programme was attended by District and Session Judge Thoubal Benny Ngangom, Thoubal District Bar Association vice president Kh Arunkumar and Chief Judicial Magistrate Thoubal Athokpam Shanta as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.

During the technical session, remand lawyer Kh Lembisana spoke on 'Crime against Women' and panel lawyer Maisnam Brojendro Meetei on 'Legal Rights for Women' as resource persons.
