I-League 3 playoff: KLASA FC flagged off by minister Govindas

Imphal, September 26 2024:
West Bengal-bound, KLASA FC were flagged off by YAS minister Govindas Konthoujam at the Keinou-based football club's playground on Thursday.
During the group stage of the I-League 3rd Division, KLASA FC were Group D winners in Diphu, Assam.
The group stage, with 25 teams divided into five groups, was held in a single round-robin format in five locations.
Ten teams - five group winners and runners-up - qualified for the playoffs, which began on September 25, 2024 in Naihati and Kalyani, West Bengal.
In the playoffs, Manipur are placed in Group A .
They will start they campaign against Downtown Heroes FC on September 28, followed by matches against Karbi Anglong Morning Star FC on September 30, Diamond Harbour FC on October 2 and Sesa FA on October 4 .
During the event, Minister Govindas Konthoujam highlighted the government's unwavering commitment to advancing the state football.
He also expressed hopes that KLASA FC would perform well and progress to the I-League 2nd Division.
The top six clubs in the I-League 3 playoffs will secure a place in the I-League 2, with the top four taking part in the 2024-25 I-League 2 and the remaining two sides competing in the 2025-26 I-League 2 .
