1st Premier League : Singam Subash nets four in SU's 4-2 win

Imphal, January 14 2024:
Skipper Singam Subash ran riot to score four goals alone as Sagolband United (SU) beat Rising Athletic Union (RAU), Lairikyengbam Leikai 4-2 today in the 1st Premier League being organised by the All Manipur Football Association.
SU enjoyed a 3-0 first half lead with Singam Subash scoring a hattrick (10', 33', 38') within a span of 28 minutes with the first coming up in the 10th minute.
SU rested back with the comfortable lead after the restart but RAU who were struggling to find their composure pulled back a goal in the 69th minute with Ngangom Jiten converting a penalty.
Subash had his fourth goal in the 89th minute to help SU regain a three goal cushion but RAU rode on substitute Md Mustofa's stoppage time goal (90+4') to make the final scoreline read 2-4 .
Later in the day, Classic Football Academy (CFA) pulled off a narrow 1-0 win against ASUFII Football Academy (AFA) .
The lone goal that settled the game was scored by Ganningam Malangmei in the 18th minute.
