MAAMBA greets State riders participating Asian MTB C'ships

The All Manipur Adventure and Moutain Biking Association (MAAMBA) has congratulated four riders from Manipur who will be representing India in the 28th Asian MTB Championships due to be held from October 26 to 29 at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
Ronel Khundrakpam will be competing in the XCO (Cross Country Olympic) and XCE (Cross Country Eliminator) at the continental event while Thotmachan Awungshi will be competing in the XCR (Cross Country team relay) and XCO events at the championships.
Former National champion K Adonis Tangpu will also be representing the country in the XCR and XCE competitions.
Hamom Urbashi will also script history by becoming not only State's first female cyclist but also first Indian female cyclist to compete in an international Downhill event.
India is hosting the asian event for the first time in the history, said MAAMBA in a release while extending best wishes to the four cyclists who made it to the India's contingent.
Elangbam Bhubaneswar will be the CFI Technical Official in the event, MAAMBA added.
