Assistance extended to injured, relief camps

Imphal, October 26 2023:
Sagolband Nepra Menjor Pukhri Mapal Women's Voluntary Association on Wednesday extended a financial assistance of Rs 10,000 to student Loitongbam Kisan Singh s/o Loitongbam Noren Singh of Yairipok Angtha Mamang Leikai, who sustained serious injuries while protesting against the brutal killings of students Hijam Linthoingambi and Phijam Hemanjit.
Meanwhile, Car & Bike Rental Service Company distributed 50 beds to the relief camp opened at Tang Tangjeng Mangjing on Thursday as MN Brick Farm, Khongjom proprietor Moirangthem Ningthem jao Singh of Thoubal Melaground along with volunteers of Thoubal Apunba Lup (TAL) distributed three blankets each to 41 displaced people from Napat, Tangjeng Ahanlup and Khoubuk, along with edibles for children staying in the relief camp set up at Sugnu Mangjing.
Thoubal Wangmataba Sorok Makha Meira Paibi and Wangmataba Manishang School also distributed 50 blankets and inner-wears for women staying in the relief camps at Phubala High School and Moirang.
