Coaching Course for Wushu Coaches kick-starts at Khuman Lampak

Coaching Course for Wushu Coaches being organised by Wushu Association of India in collaboration with Sports Authority of India with the aim of enhancing the quality of coaches of wushu in India kick-started today at MP Hall of SAI-SAG, Khuman Lampak today.
The course was formally inaugurated today with a display of traditional games in the presence of Bobby Waikhom, IAS, Secretary, Youth Affairs and Sports, K Radhakumar Singh; IAS (retd), Registrar National Sports University, Manipur; M Praveen Singh, IAS, Director, Youth Affairs and Sports; Bhupender Singh Bajwa, President Wushu Association of India, Suhel Ahmed, Secretary General, Wushu Association of India and Prof Jayashree Acharya, Dean, National Sports University, Manipur as distinguished guests.
The wushu experts from China; Wushu Coaches, M Birmani and Jasobanta and Arjuna Awardees Sandhyarani, Bimoljit and Sanathoi were also presented simple gifts on the occasion.
Around 100 wushu coaches from across India will be trained under the guidance of four Professors from Beijing Sports University namely, Li Qiaoling, Zhang Xiao Ou, Qin Ranchong and Liang Yadong led by Zeng Feng Fang of International Wushu Federation in this training programme.
The course will culminate on May 25 .
