Anti-Terrorism Day observed in Bpr and Thoubal

In view of the Nation-wide observation of Anti-Terrorism Day marking the death anniversary of former Prime Minister, Rajiv Gandhi, Assembly Youth Congress Committee Moirang under the aegis of Manipur Pradesh Youth Congress Committee gifted eatables to Glory Children Home at Moirang KonjengbamLeikai.
All India Youth Congress general secretary Manipur in charge Sariffa Rahaman, Moirang AC ex MLA M Prithviraj, MPCC secretary Badrur Rahman were present in the distribution of the eatables.
Later, the committee presented simple gifts at various Massjid in Kwakta in connection with the holy month of Ramazan.
District Administration, Thoubal observed Anti-Terrorism Day at the Conference Hall of DC Office, Thoubal today.
DC, Thoubal Haobam Rosita Devi highlighted the significance of observing the day and the death of late Rajiv Gandhi, former Prime Minister of India was recalled during the observance.
Later, the DC led the gathering in taking the pledge to oppose all forms of terrorism, uphold and promote peace, social harmony and understanding among all fellow human beings.
District Level Officers and staff of DC office attended the programme.
