CDSA Super League Contrasting wins for LSC, RACC

Imphal, September 12 2016: Lamka Sports Club (LSC) and Rengkai Athletic and Cultural Club (RACC) registered contrasting wins against their respective opponents today in the ongoing T Lianboi Simte Memorial super division league 2016 organised by CDSA at Peace ground, Tuibuong.

In the first league encounter, Immanuel hit a treble as LSC beat Rangers United Soccer Stars (RUSS) by a margin of four goals to two.

LSC took an early lead when Immanuel netted the opener in the 6th minute.

Lallianmawi doubled the score for LSC in 19th minute.

John pulled one back for RUSS in the 26th minute and the first half ended with LSC taking a 2-1 lead.

Paochungnung of RUSS booted home the equaliser in the 46th minute.

After the score line was levelled, both sides played conscientiously seeking opportunity to squeeze the winner.

Immanuel took charge to score two goals in quick succession in the 48th and 49th minute to wrap the match in style.

The second match was a one-sided affair as RACC drubbed SCL 6-1.Riding on Tanlian's emphatic four, RACC had an easy day.

Tanlian scored the opener in the 14th minute and he was at it again in the 27th minute.

Lalboi contributed another goal in the 32nd minute to help the team take a 3-0 lead by the end of the first half.

Tanlian scored his third as he found no difficulty in converting a penalty in the 40th minute.

Already in a scoring spree, Tanlian slotted home another goal in the 48th minute.

It was John who completed the scoring for RACC as he slammed home a goal in the 60th minute.

Haominthang scored the consolation for SCL in the 55th minute.

AFC face MSYC tomorrow at 1.20 pm while UKB clash with LSC at 3 pm.
