BP & GP trophy: TRAU beats WCA

Imphal, June 26 2013: After a short delay due to rain, TRAU and WCA clashed in the 26th match of the ongoing 1st RK Brajabihari Paul & Govind Paul at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium with 25 overs in both innings today.

TRAU, who won the match by 4 runs restricted WCA for 69 runs for all out in 23.1 overs in the first inning of the match.

Openers of WCA namely Bronson and Kala struck 32 runs for 56 balls and 12 runs for 25 runs respectively.

Bowlers of TRAU Thomas and Priyojit were credited with 3 wickets each.

TRAU scored 70 runs for 6 wickets in 21.2 overs.

Nanao of WCA took 2 wickets and Pramod, Goutam and Joychandra took one wicket each.

Priyojit of TRAU was named as man of the match for his 11 runs and 3 wickets.

CHAMP would take on BLUE HAWK in tomorrow's match.
