LDA launches Swachhta Hi Seva campaign

Bishnupur, September 26 2024: Under the aegis of Union Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, Loktak Development Authority (LDA) launched 'Swachhta Hi Seva (SHS)' campaign under the theme 'Thematic Interest Day for Wetlands' at Sendra Chingkhong along with carrying out a cleanliness drive on Thursday.

Speaking at the launch of the campaign, LDA director L Bhagaton Singh informed that the cleanliness drive was conducted at Sendra, one of Manipur's top tourist spots, to encourage tourists keep the place neat and clean.

He also appealed to the tourists to contribute their mite in keeping the Loktak Lake and Sendra tidy.
