Shija inaugurates Day Care Unit

Imphal, October 05 2023: Shija Hospitals & Research Institute (SHRI) inaugurated its Day Care Unit to enhance patient care on Thursday.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was conducted by SHRI CMD Dr Palin Khundongbam and attended by both clinical and non-clinical staffers of SHRI.

A release issued by SHRI informed that the newly inaugurated Day-Care Unit, with its eight beds and operating hours from 6 am to 6 pm, is tailored to meet the needs of patients seeking short-term daytime care.

The establishment of this day-care unit is in adherence to the norms and guidelines set forth by the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH), it added.
