Demise of Ima Memchoubi, SUK executive condoled

Many offered condolences on the sudden demise of Poirei Leimarol Meira Paibi Apunba Manipur president Ima Longjam Memchoubi.
In separate releases, Coordinating Committee on Manipur Integrity (COCOMI), Indigenous People s Association of Kangleipak, Moirangkampu Sajeb Women's Welfare Association, All Manipur Arts & Culture Students' Union, Imphal East District United Clubs, Eastern Club Development Organisation-Andro, North Eastern United Club Organisation-Lamlai, United Ching Tam Club Association-Khundrakpam, Social United Clubs Organisation-Khurai, North Eastern United Clubs & Meira Paibi Organisation-Heingang, South Eastern United Clubs Organisation-Kongba, All Manipur Meitei Pangal Clubs' Organisation-Phumlou and Adjoining Area Welfare Organisation, Khunai Kanba Apunba Meira Paibi Lup mourned the demise of Ima Memchoubi.
They prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace and shared the pain and grief of the bereaved family.
Meanwhile, Students' Union of Kangleipak (SUK) condoled the sudden demise of its Kakching district committee president Yambem Nabakanta.
In a release, SUK informed that Nabakanta was proactively involved in activities related to welfare of the student community and also took part in several students' movements.
While praying for the departed soul to rest in peace, the Union shared the pain and grief of the bereaved family.
Members of Imphal East District United Clubs' Organisation, Eastern Clubs Development Organisation Andro, North Eastern United Clunb's Organisation Lamlai, United Ching-Tam Clubs' Association Khundrakpam, Social United Clubs' Organisation Khurai, North Easternn United Clubs and Meira Paibi Organisation Heingang, South Eastern United Clubs' Organisation Kongba also held a condolence meeting at AMUCO office at Kwakeithel Akham Leikai on Thursday, during which a two - minute silence was observed in honour of the departed soul.

Mayaikoibi Nupi Ihou Marup also condoled the demise of Longjam Memchoubi by observing a two-minute silence at their respective offices.
COCOMI also condoled the demise of Longjam Memchoubi and prayed for her soul to rest in peace.
In a statement, COCOMI informed that Ima Memchoubi was a prominent leader, who led the society in several social issues including anti-AFSPA movement, ILPS demand, CAB protest and the ongoing aggression of Kuki narco-terrorists among others.
All Manipur Meitei Pangal Clubs' Organisation and All Manipur Arts and Culture Students' Union also condoled the demise of the Meira Paibi leader while sharing the grief and pain of the bereaved family.
