Lecture prog on breast cancer held

Imphal, January 14 2024: CRPF, Imphal CH chief medical officer Dr Shivani Sharma delivered an awareness lecture on breast cancer at 143 Bn CRPF, Lamphelpat on Sunday.

During her address, she made the gathering aware about the symptoms of breast cancer, its risk factors and importance of Mammography, which the CMO explained is X-ray of breast and is the scientific method for early detection of breast cancer.

She also emphasised on self-breast examination for early detection of signs of cancer.

In all, 45 families residing in the residential accommodation of the unit and nearby areas attended the awareness lecture.
