Imphal, September 26 2023: Manipur Nat-Sankirtana Apunba (MNSA) organised a one-day discussion programme on Nat-Sankirtana, which has been recognised among the 'Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity' by UNESCO, at Shri Shri Govindji Temple shed on Monday.

The programme was attended by MNSA president and Nat-Sankirtana 'Guru' Leimapokpam Lakpati, and vice presidents N Shyamchand and Kh Kriti as presidium members.

Speaking on the occasion, L Lakpati emphasised on preserving and developing cultural heritage preserved and bestowed by our ancestors.

Lamenting that Nat-Sankirtana is gradually losing popularity and identity, he stated that the programme has been organised to discuss ways to keep alive the art form.
