Imphal, March 17 2017:
Manipur Government Services' Federation has urged the new BJP-led State Government to take up required steps to end the ongoing economic blockade.
In a statement, the federation also urged to establish a police recruitment board and State staff selection commission to completely eliminate corruption, favouritism and nepotism from the State.
Manipur Government Services' Federation also expressed hope that the State Government will expedite the payment of 7th pay to employees and pensioners as assured and reflected in the vision document released by BJP, Manipur Pradesh.
