Training programme on sustainable livelihood begins

Kakching, February 07 2024:
A two-day training programme on "Sustainable Livelihood under SHG & PSME Activities, Importance of Springshed Management and Usage of Srishti & Drishti for Monitoring of Assets" began today at the Library & Information Hall, Kakching Chumnang Phousupat Leikai.
Deputy Commissioner Kakching Somorjit Salam inaugurated the training programme which is being organised by the District Administration Kakching under WDC-PKKSY 2.0 .

The inaugural programme was also graced by RD & PR Project Officer, S Nabachandra and Head of Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Thoubal and Senior Scientist Dr Zeshmarani Sarangthem as the presidium members.
DC Kakching Somorjit Salam spoke on the topic "Implementation of Springshed Rejuvenation and Management" while Additional CEO, Dr RK Sunita spoke on "Agriculture/Horticulture a means for Sustainable Livelihood" Programme Assistant (Agri Extension) Salam Prabin spoke on "Formation & Functioning of SHGs, FPO", KVK Thoubal Senior Scientist & Head, Dr Zeshmarani Sarangthem spoke on "Animal husbandry, a means for Sustainable Livelihood" and SLNA programmer W Premananda on the topic "Usage of Srishti & Drishti on Monitoring of Assets under WDC-PMKSY 2.0" .
