NEET to be held at 22 centres on Jun 6

The NEET (UG)-2023 conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) will be held on Tuesday, June 6 across 22 centres in Imphal, said Deputy Commissioner of Imphal West, Th Kirankumar briefing the media at his office today.
Earlier scheduled to be held on May 7 for centres all over the country, the examination was postponed for all the centres in Manipur due to the unrest in the State.
While a total of 8751 candidates from the State applied for the NEET (UG) 2023, 1914 candidates have applied for change of examination centres outside the State owing to the prevailing situation.
Details and particulars for information of the candidates are as follows Admit Cards .
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will upload new admit cards for download by the candidates on its website https://neet.nta.nic.in.
Alternatively, candidates may also collect the new Admit cards from the offices of the Deputy Commissioners of their registered home addresses.
Old admit cards may also be used: Further, candidates who are not in position to either download their new admit cards or collect from the offices of the DCs may also use their old admit cards.
Time : The timing of the examination has been preponed to 12 pm to 3.20 pm in all examination centres in view of the prevailing law and order situation.
While the examination starts from 12 noon, candidates shall report at their respective examination centres at 9 am.
Reporting/Entry Time at Centre : 9 am
Gate Closing Time : 11 am
Duration of test : 12 pm to 3.20 pm
Examination Centres
The examination will be held across 22 centres located in Imphal East (10) and Imphal West (12) .
Change of examination centre: Out of the 22 centres, 21 will remain the same while one examination centre has been changed and shifted to another venue as it is being occupied by CAPF.
Lamlong Higher Secondary Examination centre [NTA-EC-P-14569] has been changed and shifted to Ananda Singh Higher Secondary Academy [NTA-EC-G-15888], Old Checkon, Imphal East.
All candidates previously allocated Lamlong Higher Secondary [other than those who have applied for change of examination City Centre to other State] will now have to appear the examination at Ananda Singh Higher Secondary Academy.
Movement of candidates/examination functionaries: Admit cards, appointment letter/orders/identity cards of examination functionaries viz Observers, Centre Superintendents, Deputy Superintendents, Invigilators etc of the 22 examination centres will be treated as curfew pass on the day of the examination.
