Moreh, September 26 2024: With an apparent intention to block movement of security forces particularly CRPF, BSF and State forces to their areas, Kuki miscreants have cut off a bypass by digging out the road near Sijang village which is located next to Moreh Ward No 9 this afternoon, sources said.

According to the sources, Kuki women and people of the area blocked the road in the morning.

Even as the Kuki miscreants have cut off the bypass, Tengnoupal police have wired a message to the CO of 5 Assam Rifles at Moreh that reliable inputs have been received that KNA cadres will be escorting arms, ammunition and drugs from Myanmar through Haolenphai and T Minou area.
