CRPF carries out fogging drive

Imphal, September 26 2024: As part of Swachhata HiSeva (SHS) campaign, 86 Bn CRPF, Lamphelpat under the aegis of CRPF IGP Manipur and Nagaland Sector carried out fogging drive at Nagamapal Kangjabi Leirak in collaboration with the local volunteers on Thursday.

The fogging drive held under the supervision of 86 Bn CRPF commandant Saurabh Kumar Choudhary, covered residential area, market, lane and public spaces in Nagamapal Kangjabi Leirak to control the spread of vector-borne diseases such as malaria, dengue, chikungunya, etc.

All personnel and officers of 86 Bn and volunteers of Nagamapal Kangjabi Leirak participated in the exercise and carried out the fogging drive successfully.

The campaign seeks to foster a collective effort towards sanitation and related activities, mobilising communities for widespread participation, it added.
