MK Priyobrata memorial art exhibition begins

Imphal, February 17 2024: The 10th Maharajkumar Priyobrata Singh Memorial Art Exhibition- 2024 commenced from Saturday at the State Art Gallery, Palace Compound under the joint aegis of Art Society Manipur and Manipur Cultural Integration Conference.

The exhibition to be held till February 20 was inaugurated by Art and Culture commissioner M Joy Singh.

During the function, the wood cut (graphic) art of Waribam Nelopal Devi named "Mother Love" was honoured with presentation of the Maharajkumar Priyobratta Singh Memorial Award -2024 while the sculpture work of Sairem Satyajit named "Lan Amashung Miyoibagi Hak" was presented the Special mention award.

Presided over by Art Society Manipur president Th Devendra Singh, the function was also attended by Manipur Cultural Integration Conference president A Brajakumar Sharma as guest of honour.

Two award winning art works along with 48 paintings, six sculptures and 12 graphics of various artists are being displayed at the exhibition.
