Sky Hospital cures WPW syndrome patient

Imphal, August 02 2023: A female patient suffering from severe recurrent palpitation due to WPW syndrome has been successfully cured after conducting operation with EPS+RFA at Sky Hospital on July 27 .

In a release, Sky Hospital & Research Centre Pvt Ltd said that the patient, who was earlier treated in another private hospital and advised to go outside the state for treatment, was brought to Sky hospital and operated with EPS+RFA thereby curing the WPW syndrome.

She has been discharged and does not need further medication.

The release further informed that Dr Lairikyengbam Shyamkishore, who is the chairman and chief cardiologist of the hospital, expressed satisfaction over the successful conduct of the operation.

He also appealed to the people of the state to be aware of various sophisticated and specialized infrastructure and facilities available at the hospital to reduce mental and physical hardships and cost of travelling to distant places.
