JCILPS rounds up many sans license

Imphal, April 06 2016:
Many non-local workers engaged in the construction of buildings inside the National Institute of Technology, Manipur, complex at Langol were found without valid license issued by the State Labour Department during a drive conducted by the Joint Committee on Inner Line Permit System (JCILPS) today.
JCILPS conducted the drive in continuation of its campaign to detect migrant workers without valid documents, JCILPS assistant convenor Hayatur Rahaman Yumkhaibam stated.
Altogether 121 migrant workers were found engaged in the construction of different blocks inside the NIT complex at Langol.

JCILPS pulled up and handed over some of these workers who do not possess valid identity proof and/or fake ID cards to Lamphel police station after the drive.
JCILPS will continue with the drive to detect migrants workers without valid license issued by the State Labour Department, Hayatur Rahaman stated.
