Club properties looted, FIR lodged

Imphal, July 13 2023:
Office of the Southern Sporting Union (SSU), Kakwa was found looted by unknown miscreants by breaking open the lock.
Addressing media persons in this regard at the Union office, president Robin Blackie said that the office remained close since May 3 following the ethnic violence in the state.
The unknown miscreants broke open the lock of the office and took away a TV, wall fans, DVR of CCTV camera and boots of players.
He informed that some players had visited the office to take their belongings on June 29.On July 9, the office properties were found missing when some SSU members entered the premises.
Subsequently, an FIR has been lodged at Singjamei Police station on the same day urging the authority concerned to book those involved in the act and take up necessary actions, Blackie told the media in the presence of SSU general secretary Waikhom Khelen, vice president Romen Sharma and other members.
