25 NRFM cadres join UNLF

Twenty five cadres of the armed National Revolutionary Front Manipur (NRFM) including one self-styled major, two self-styled officers and one self-styled NCO joined the Pambei led United National Liberation Front (UNLF) on Monday.
The welcoming programme of 25 NRFM cadres was held at the Pambei led UNLF Brigade 1 camp in Ingourak and was attended by UNLF's chief of army in-charge Thokchom Sidaba Meitei, finance secretary Tonsana, organisation secretary Nongdol, self-styled colonels Tomnou & Meipak and self-styled major Khoimu.
Speaking on the occasion, Sidaba opined that the 25 cadres including major Boicha, second lieutenant Bungcha, sergeant major Nongsaba and captain Yuremba joined the armed wing of the Pambei-led UNLF with the believe that the fight for the independence should be fought unitedly.
He revealed that the cadres had contacted them via phone on Sunday to express their willingness to join the UNLF.
Th Sidaba further appealed to other remaining UNLF cadres to join the fold along with cadres of other UG groups so that all of them could work together.
On the other hand, NRFM self-styled major Boicha said that they linked up with the Pambei-led UNLF as they believe that instead of division all should join hands to achieve the common goal.
He also appealed to all organisations working for the welfare of Manipur to unite.
