KSO Chandel district condemn assault of Naga Students Union's leader

Chandel, November 19 2014: The Kuki Students' Organization (KSO) Chandel District strongly condemned the assault of Naga Students' Union Chandel (NSUC) President and the recent incident of IED Blast at Sita Lamkhai near Tengnoupal.

In a press statement issued by Jamko-on Zou, Secretary, Department of Information,Kuki Students' Organization, Chandel District, the student body strongly condemn the physical assault of the President of Naga Students' Union Chandel, Sr Joninggam, by some uncivilized youngster on the night of last Thursday at Chandel at the highest term, which is never been heard before in the District.

The Organization also urged the general public to know that, Leader of any Civil Organizations were the real Leader of the Society who voluntarily sacrifices themselves for the society, they further request the people of the District to dissent from such act against any civil organization Leaders in the future, wherein such act is very much uncultured in this modern era.

Meanwhile, the Kuki Students' Organization Chandel District also condemned the incident of IED blast at Sita Lamkhai, near Tengnoupal Village, and urge the people involved to clarified themselves at the earliest.

The KSO Chandel District and a Team of Media Persons rushed to the village right after hearing the incident and meet the Chief, Village Authority and the concern Police OC, and collect the relevant information there.

The organization further condemn the irrational act of the 24 AR by conducting a combing operation within the Tengnoupal Village, which leads to mental fear psychosis among the villagers, and forced the village secretary to sign in a sheet of paper as a prove of being not given any harassment to them by the 24 AR.

Why do the innocent villagers of the nearest village were harassed when any incident happen at any place from the Assam Rifles? What make such incident happen when the national highway is open only on daytime with heavy frisking on the spot of the incident, questioned the students body.

While appealing the Security personnels to stop acting irritational against the innocent civilians, The organization further maintained that, the Security Forces were deploy in any place for the protection and safety for the people but not to torture them.
