Thanlon Tour of Parliamentary Secretary Vungzagin Valte concludes

The four-day marathon inspection tour under the leadership of the Parliamentary Secretary, Govt.of Manipur Mr.Vungzagin Valte, the MLA of Thanlon A/C along with the new DC of Churachandpur Mr Lunminthang Haokip came to an end at Lamka town around 8 pm today.
During the visit, Mr.V Valte inaugurated the VA cum Guest House at Dialkhai village, where he warned the villagers not to use the Guest House for residential purposes, but to accommodate needy travelers.
At Khazang village, the V Valte praised one trained private nurse of the village Mrs.Ngailunniang and her husband Mr.Goukhanpau for catering to the needs of the surrounding villages voluntarily and opening of a Pharmacy for the needy.
The Parliamentary Secretary also promised to provide the tin for roofing their house.
The spouse has been working as a missionary work and has also been traveling to villages on foot.
They have not got any help from the government, the nurse said.
Regarding the irregularity and insufficiency of civil supply items in Khazang village, the district supply officer Mr.Ginzasuan said that they are going to install a 5000 ton godown at Thanlon very soon and with 200 ton capacity godown at three villages as per a proposal.
In Phaitong village, DC Mr.L Haokip told the villagers to maintain their status as the genesis of gospel in the area and retrospect on the achievement they had and try to produce as many Christians for the good of the society and the community.
He added that 'in the border of Mizoram state, a rural business hub will be set up and for the problem of water, we will try to do our best' .
The parliamentary secretary Valte told the Sinzawl villagers that judicious use of water and care of water pipe should never be neglected.
The Chairman ADCC on the occasion of prize distribution told the students that there was no that you can't be like the DC who is an IAS officer or one like the minister V.Valte.
The ZRO president also demanded the visiting team and officials concerned to give severest punishment to the teachers who are absent at their posting places.
At last, the team halted at Mualnuam village , which was one of the most populous villages in Thanlon A/C with more than 200 households.
In a grand reception there, the Parliamentary Secretary and the DC were carried on a village made Palanquin for approximately 500 meter up to the meeting place.
Regarding bad communication facilities of the place, the official of BSNL promised to install a tower at Thanlon by March 2015 .
Later the team went to inspect the construction of Road between Mualnuam and Dialkhai which will cater to the road communication.
