Red Shield Division organises Ex-Servicemen rally

The Red Shield Division of Spear Corps organized an Ex-Stirvicemen (ESM) Rally at Kaprang in Churachandpur District on March 4, 2024 .
In a continued effort to connect with veterans, the Indian Army organized the Ex-Servicemen (ESM) Rally at Kaprang in Churachandpur following the rally at Bishnupur on February 26 and Senapati on February 28 .
The event witnessed a significant turnout with 878 veterans, 11 Veer Naris, 132 widows, and 44 dependents.
Also, the event was attended by 9 war veterans of 1965 war, 154 veterans from 1971 war and a large number of Kargil war Gallantry awardees.
Maj Gen SS Kartikeya, SM, GOC, Red Shield Division graced the event as the chief guest, wherein he expressed his gratitude to the veterans and their families for their sacrifices and services to the nation.
The primary objective of, the rally was to facilitate the ESM community in registering grievances related to pension documentation and other anomalies.
Dedicated assistance booths were set up to provide support and guidance on crucial matters, including healthcare, pension anomalies, and ECHS Polyclinic services.
The rally aimed to address the unique needs and concerns of ESM attendees comprehensively.
