3 labourers freed by kidnappers

Imphal, March 29 2015:
Three labourers reportedly kidnapped by a suspected Kuki underground group for a ransom amount of Rs 1 crore were freed last night in a remote area of Sadar Hills under Senapati district.
The police have confirmed the report on the release of the three labourers who had been in captivity of the kidnappers for 10 days.
The victims are K Denial (27) of Mayangkhang Ningthoujam, Kh Samson (40) of Khurai Kongpal and Ng Bidhu (60) of Kyamgei Maning Leikai.
They were released by the kidnappers around 9 pm.
The underground cadres abducted K Denial from a work site along Imphal-Tamenmglong road on March 18 and then Kh Samson and Ng Bidhu on March 21 .
