Meritorious students feted

Singa Nongjai Welfare Association (SNWA) Manipur today organised the 10th Meritorious Award Distribution cum Reception Programme for successful candidates of NEET UG/JEE/FMGE-2023/ national sportspersons, competitive exam candidates/ meritorious students of Class X & XII belonging to Singa Nongjai, at Jamia Halima Aziz, Khabeisoi Karong Thong, Imphal East.
The programme was attended by Md Reihanuddin Choudhury, Joint Secretary (Home), Government of Manipur; Md Din Mahomad @ Ingocha, president SNWA Manipur; Md Ismat Khan, Deputy Secretary, Secretariat; Sheikh Aashif Shah, Judicial Magistrate; Sheikh Noor Kamal, MPS, Yairipok Tulihal; Aslam Sheikh, SDC Moreh; Dr Feroz Khan, Chief Medicine, JNIMS Porompat; Najarul Islam, Z/P Kshetrigao; Alhaj Tayeb Ali, ZP Uchiwa; Md Idrish Ali, Pradhan, Lilong Atoukhong GP; Md Fazal Khan, Pradhan Wangkhem GP; Juno Rahaman, advocate High Court; and Haji Juma Khan, president SNWA Kairang Khomidok, Khabeisoi Unit as presidium members.
At the event, Md Reihanuddin Choudhury exhorted the students to work hard to be successful in their future and contribute towards the betterment of the society and the State.
Moreover, Rahmani30 today organised a felicitation programme to honour successful candidates of NEET-UG 2023 belonging to the Meitei Pangal community at Manipur Creative School, Dewlahland.
During the event, Rahmani Programme of Excellence-Rahmani30, Manipur State coordinator Md Raees Ahamed Tampak presented simple gifts to Meitei Pangal students who had cleared NEET-UG 2023 .
Md Raees congratulated the successful candidates and added that RAHMANI30 Manipur State has produced 23 MBBS and 2 BDS so far.
Notably, all the 19 students who had participated in NEET-UG 2023 from RAHMANI Manipur State, cleared the NEET-UG 2023.Out of which, 11 students scored 500+ marks and got Government MBBS seat while 7 students scored more than 400 marks and got 2 BDS Government seats.
