BJP Sadar Hills organises free medical camp to mark Narendra Modi's birthday

A free health camp was organised in Poudel Basti, Irang Part-I here Thursday under the aegis of BJP Sadar Hills as part of the 'Seva Saptah' to mark the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The free medical camp was inaugurated by ADC Sadar Hills Chairman Haokholal Hangshing in the presence of BJP Sadar Hills president, Thangjamang Kipgen, ADC Sadar Hills Executive Member BP Vikas Basnet, District ST Morcha president Tonglen Khongsai, Mandal president Tingnei Lhouvum, District co-convenor Sagar Gewali, ADC Sadar Hills Member Milan Pradhan, Seilen Lhoujem, Chief Medical Officer Dr Kimneng Misao and Medical Superintendent of District Hospital Kangpokpi Dr Paotinlal Haokip.
More than 300 people attended the medical camp.
BJP Manipur Pradesh general secy (org) P Premananda also visited the medical camp.
Apart from medical check up, blood tests were also conducted with the assistance of Krishna Diagnostic Imphal.
JE vaccination was also done during the camp.
Speaking to media persons, BJP Sadar Hills president Thangjamang Kipgen said that the free medical camp is a part of various social welfare activities undertaken by the District BJP under Seva Saptah in commemoration of the 69th birthday of PM Modi.
The District BJP leaders visited various high schools, hospitals and orphanage home within the district and distributed fruits and sweets, he said.
During the visits, the District BJP leaders also advised people to shun use of single use of plastics, he added.
