Yuva JD(U) submits memorandum to Speaker

Imphal, July 19 2023:
Yuva Janata Dal (United) has submitted a memorandum listing five points to the Speaker of Manipur Legislative Assembly, Thokchom Satyabrata today.
The memorandum which bore the signature of Bhaktaraj Thiyam, president, Yuva Janata Dal (United), Manipur State Unit has questioned why any necessary action has not been taken up against the 10 Kuki MLAs who proposed the demand for separate administration.
Secondly, it questioned what steps have been taken up to bring peace in this present crisis by the State Government.
As the third point, the memorandum pointed out that the distribution relief materials are not done in a systematic manner.
Then, the memorandum went on to question why the double engine Government of BJP has failed to allow free vehicular movement along the National Highway-2 which serves as a lifeline for Manipur.
Lastly, Yuva Janata Dal (United) appealed to the Speaker of Manipur Legislative Assembly to convene an emergency Assembly session.
The memorandum also expressed confidence that the Speaker would be able to convince all stakeholders to choose the path of peace in the overall interest of all people of Manipur.
