Imphal, May 15 2021: The Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) is compelled to clarify against the false statement released on May 13, 2021 by KD Gangmei, self styled MIP (deserter of ZUF), said a statement of Hozam Thaimei, secretary Ministry of Information and Publicity, ZUF.

ZUF stated that Raitu Chawang, chairman and S Kamson, vice chairman of ZUF should not be unnecessarily blamed by the deserters and by the civil society organisations without any proof.

Repeated clarifications on the alliance with NSCN U and ZUF joining Indo-Naga talk under the banner of NNPG to save the future of Zeliangrong have been approved by all except some leaders using Rongmei dialectic name to sabotage the aged old dream and mission of zeliangrong political movement, it added.

The ZUF is still intact with the united leadership and KD Gangmei gang led by Jenchui Kamei are deserters.

They have been expelled for selling out ZUF arms and properties for private gains, it added.

ZUF urged the concerned individual and organisation to not mislead the public regarding Late Radamchui Kamei who was punished for serious treason and warned of stern action against any individual or organisation trying to tarnish the good name of ZUF.

ZUF further appealed to the public to not believe the false news of any individual or organisation.
