Educational relief camp to be launched

Thoubal, June 27 2023: IRE Residential Model School is set to launch a residential educational relief camp wherein displaced students between Class IV to X will be taught free of cost.

This was informed by Dr Rajiv Kumar Narengbam, principal, IRE Group of Institution Wangjing today.

He stated that the programme will accommodate 50/60 students with no admission or tuition fee charges.

Aside from this, the institution will also supply them with a t-shirt and necessary books under the programme, he said.

In this regard, the principal has sought the help of all relevant authorities, clubs, organisations etc to extend aid to meet the students' needs for daily essential items.

It may be noted that a DC Level Committee meeting held on June 14 at the conference hall of DC Thoubal had directed to establish such educational relief camps along with extending help to meet the monthly requirements of the students.
