One more MBBS student slapped FIR

As a part of the measures to streamline the School Education Department, an FIR has been filed against an individual who has been found pursuing MBBS at JNIMS while simultaneously drawing the salary of primary teacher .
It may be mentioned that there are already three instances where the School Education Department has taken up necessary actions, including cancelling the appointment orders of individuals who passed the SSA Primary Teachers DPC in September 25, 2012 and were found pursuing MBBS course at JNIMS all the while drawing the primary teachers' salary .
The Department has also taken up steps to retrieve the withdrawn salaries from the involved persons .
Speaking to The Sangai Express, an official source pointed out that today' revelation makes it the fourth and the Director of School Education Th Kirankumar has issued an order regarding the same .
According to the source, the individual has been identified as Rubeiya Huda d/o Hesamuddin of Lilong Hangamthabi, Thoubal .
She was selected in the SSA Primary Teachers DPC of September 25, 2012 and posted as a primary teacher at Bengi Primary School, Thoubal .
The source pointed out that Rubeiya Huda submitted her resignation after four years as a primary teacher .
As per the submission, the State Government approved her resignation with effect from December 27, 2016, by an order of the State Government dated May 4 this year .
The School Education Department investigated into the matter after it became suspicious of the manner in which she resigned from the post and it was revealed that she was pursuing MBBS at JNIMS .
The source explained that the School Education Department inquired the Dean (Academic), JNIMS about whether Rubeiya had indeed, been pursuing MBBS at the institute .
Accordingly, JNIMS authority submitted a report which confirmed that Rubeiya had been enrolled as a regular student of the MBBS course at JNIMS from August 25, 2012 .
The report also mentioned that she has also appeared all the professional examinations timely, passing them and that she is presently doing her one year compulsory rotary internship which began from March 1, this year .
As per the order issued today by the Director, School Education Department, the appointment order as well as the resignation of Rubeiya Huda have been cancelled with immediate effect .
The order further instructed ZEO Zone III to lodge an FIR against Rubeiya Huda within a month (starting from today) as well as to instruct the involved individual to deposit the salary and allowances which she have withdrawn, to the Head of Department within a period of six months .
It may be mentioned that the 2012 SSA DPC was taken in a merit basis and as such there is rising suspicion that many of the candidates who were selected in the DPC may also have got selected in MBBS course and the School Education Department has stated inspecting the MBBS selected list for any anomaly, the source added .
It further stated that some individuals have indeed been found pursuing MBBS course at some medical institutes, besides JNIMS, and the School Education Department has informed the concerned institutes to submit the necessary reports to ascertain the facts .
On the other hand, the source pointed out that the Department has also started taking up necessary actions against numerous head masters/ head mistress of the schools where such defaulting individuals were posted as primary teachers as the salary were withdrawn after the head masters/ headmistress of the schools submitted the necessary duty report to the concerned ZEOs regarding the attendance of the said primary teachers.
