Har Ghar Tiranga campaign celebrated widely

Kpi/Tbl, August 14 2023: As celebrated across the country, the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign is being celebrated at many places in the State as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

In the Kangpokpi district, the campaign kicked off at the Deputy Commissioner's Office Complex in the district Headquarters.

The National flags are being hoisted/flown in the Government offices/institutions, among others across the district.

Hoardings for the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign for the district is being provided by the Office of the District Information Office, Kangpokpi.

It may be noted that the District Administration Kangpokpi began distribution of the Indian National flags to the various Government departments from August 11 .

The idea behind the initiative is to invoke the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the people and to promote awareness about the Indian National flag.

Thoubal
As a part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, the Thoubal District Administration has been distributing the Indian National Flags to Government departments, institutions etc.

from August 8, 2023 .

In line with the campaign, National flags have been hoisted atop house and office buildings in the district since yesterday in full swing.

The idea of Har Ghar Tiranga campaign is to instill the sense of patriotism and nationalism to the people of India.

'Meri Maati Mera Desh' campaign in connection with the celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is also underway in the district from August 9 till August 15 .

District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) in co-ordination with the District Administration have been implementing the campaign in remembrance of the bravehearts by erecting memorial plaque (Sila-phalakam) near Amrit Sarovars (water bodies) and taking the panch pran pledge solemnly promising to commit to nation building near the Sila-phalakam.

At each gram panchayat, 75 indigenous saplings are also being planted under Vasudha Vandan.

The indigenous saplings are provided by District Forest Officer, Thoubal.

On the other hand, Har Ghar Tiranga campaign was also celebrated at the residence of Thounaojam Shyamkumar, Andro AC MLA at Ngariyan Chingkhong by hoisting the National flag.

The programme which was held on the theme 'Save India, Save Manipur' was organised by BJP Andro Mandal.

Andro AC MLA Thounaojam Shyamkumar; BJP Andro Mandal president, members and the locals took part in today's event.
