MLA Surjakumar clarifies

Imphal, December 22 2023: With reference to his absence in the meeting of Committee of Privilege and Ethics of Manipur Legislative Assembly on Thursday, Congress MLA Surjakumar Okram clarified that he could not attend the same as he was out of the state for treatment of his child.

In a release, Surjakumar regretted not attending the Committee meeting and clarified that he was in Delhi for treatment of his child.

The MLA continued that he had been participating in every discussion for the welfare of state and assured of attending meeting of the committee if prior information is given.

He also drew the attention of Speaker and Ethics Committee chairman to bring a solution about the 10 MLAs.

The MLA assured of extending all possible help regarding the matter.
