AOI to observe Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Imphal, October 07 2023: As in other parts of the world, AOI Babina Specialty Hospital will observe Breast Cancer Awareness Month under the theme 'Thrive 365' with the empowering slogan 'Pink Together, Stronger Forever in October to raise awareness about breast can cer, promote early detection and provide support to those affected by this disease.

As per a release by AOI Babina Specialty Hospital, BABINA Healthcare and Hospitality Industries Pvt Ltd chairman & MD Dr Dhabali Thangjam expressed that Breast Cancer Awareness Month is being observed at the Hospital to show its commitment towards raising awareness on breast cancer.

AOI Babina Specialty Hospital will be conducting a series of awareness programmes throughout the month of October including educational sessions at Manipur University, colleges and higher secondary schools and social media platforms with the aim to educate students about breast cancer prevention and early detection as it is one of the most prevalent forms of cancer affecting women worldwide and most common in Manipur.
