Protest agitations and condemnations against the brutal murder of two students by Kuki militants continued in different parts of the valley districts.
On Saturday, Apunba Manipur Matam Ishei Kanglup (AMMIK) and All Manipur Sound Service Association (AMSSA) organised sit-in protest at Sagolband Tera Tongbram Leikai condemning the murder of Hemanjit and Linthoingambi and demanding justice for the two students.

The protestors used placards which read "Justice for Hemanjit & Linthoingambi", "We want Justice", "We condemn the killing of teenagers", "Punish the culprits involved in the murder of the two students", etc.
While expressing disbelief over stoic silence of Kuki organ -isations and individuals, AMMIK president Khaidem Thoiba pointed that the naked parading of two girls evoked strong con -demnation by Meitei organisations and even torching house of the culprit.
The government should intervene in this matter and take up measures to bring the culprits to justice ad also solve the problems being faced by the families of the deceased student duo, he said.
Meanwhile, the relay hunger strike launched under the initiative of the JAC formed against the killing of the student duo entered the 5th day.
Saturday, the relay hunger strike was held at Takyel Kolorn Leikai, Sagolband Tera Tongbram Leikai, Sagolband Moirang Hanuba and Khamnam market.
At Takyel Kolom Leikai, the relay hunger strike was carried out in three shifts with the local meira paibi activists joining the strike in morning and evening and menfolk taking over the night shift.
