Imphal, August 21 2023:
Reacting to the viral video case of one private of the Naga Army H Khosiivei Lovingson Roah linked to supplying arms to the Meeteis, the National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN-IM) strongly alleged that Indian security forces attempted to drag the outfit into the present Meetei-Kuki-Zo conflict.
According to a statement, NSCN-IM said it took custody of H Khosiivei after he was released from the custody of the Indian security forces to unearth truth about the incident and find out exact circumstances that led to creating the stinging sensation on the social media platforms.
However, it is understood that Khosiivei Roah was released after rewarding hapdsomely.
for doing what he was asked to do in order to fulfill the scheming game plan to corrupt integrity of the NSCN-IM amidst the communal violence that is burning Manipur.
According to the NSCN-IM, what happened as per H Khosiivei Lovingson Roah's confessional statement was that he was caught somewhere at Lamlong in Imphal East (Manipur) August 15 by the security forces and taken to their camp somewhere beyond Chingmeirong, Imphal.
After that he was blindfolded and taken to the army camp located between Koirengei and Mantripukhri where he was interrogated.
There he was subjected to third degree torture and made to speak out exactly as tutored under duress before the camera.
He was threatened with dire consequences if he refused to cooperate.
Thus, everything that flowed from his mouth was done under duress and nothing of his own version, claimed the NSCN-IM statement issued by MIP.
It further maintained that the manner on how the incident happened left the outfit nothing to doubt about the existence of a conspiracy group managed by a powerful and sinister security forces to assassinate the image of NSCN-IM before the world by plotting such ah extremely dramatic situation in the midst of the Meetei-Kuki-Zo ethnic pogrom.
This is the awful truth of the Indian Security Forces targeting the NSCN-IM to drag into the 'communal pool of violence', it alleged.
